In essence, the T3 (basic and advanced) is the same base unit as it's predecessor (T3-0 and T3-5) - FlexDeck® shock absorption system, 3.0 HP MagnaDrive™ motor system, etc - albeit brought up to date and matching the remainder of the 'basic' and 'advanced' range. There's really no reason to offer more than a makeover for the T3, as the build and comfort is superb. Plus, few overall changes means that the T-series price remains very competitive.

As mentioned on other GymRatZ Life Fitness cardiovascular equipment reviews, I (Matt) would be more inclined to opt for the 'advanced' console. The reason, an extra 5 programmes, including heart rate controlled programmes.

Briefly, as regards specification, the Life Fitness T3 Basic Treadmill offers: up to 12mph speed; up to 15% incline; large 60" x 20" running area. More importantly, the quality and feel of Life Fitness Treadmills are pretty much unrivaled within the fitness industry. If you are a serious runner, you will not be disappointed with the T3, although I would choose the 'advanced' console option.
