YORK BARBELL
York Barbell has gone through many changes over the years and in our 25 years of trading we've certainly seen the company change significantly. At time of writing (May 2021) York like pretty much every supplier worldwide has struggled to get products both from Canda and China (where the majority of the product range is made).
What does make it into stock is always great quality. In fact our own GymRatz gym is equipped with the York commercial STS Half Rack and multi-adjustable bench along with a set of York Pro-Style dumbbells and rack and both ranges are excellent so we have no hesitation in recommending York equipment when it's available however in these troubled times we've found the most reliable source of equipment and weights are items that are manufactured right here in the UK which although a bit more expensive than Chinese goods they offer the very best of British engineering and quality and most items are available within weeks rather than exceptionally long or even un-known lead times.
Where possible we try to keep stock of York products updated but the best thing to do is drop us a line or give us a call.
