Extremely solid and fully adjustable British made weights bench. The fabricators that make this bench are not new kids on the block as they've been making the fully welded commercial gym equipment that we've been lucky enough to sell for the last ten or more years. Launched June 2020 midst unpresidented demand for good quality gym equipment this adjustable bench was the introduction to the JMC range.

The aim to provide a full-commercial grade Flat/Incline/Decline bench for the best price with no compromise to build or material quality. This has been achieved by producing a component based bench using accurate laser cut profiles for hastle free self assembly by the purchaser. Flat pack offering reduces fabrication and carriage costs so this bench is excellent value for money. By taking the Henry Ford approach to colours (any colour as long as it's black) components are pre-powdercoated for immediate despatch.

MOST ASKED QUESTION: Will I be able to build the bench myself? The JMC bench should take you about 15-20 minutes to build, unlike most Chinese flat packed offerings your JMC bench arrives minimal component and with only one size bolt so is a very easy build. Important you will need 19mm spanner and 8mm allen key to assemble these are not included

This fully adjustable bench is strong and sturdy constructed of high grade steel with a product weight of 38kg, suitable for a commercial gym the JMC Strength adjustable bench has a maximum weight capacity of 400kg. Comfortable seat pads with durable, cleanable upholstery. Buy once for a lifetime of use home or commercial gym.

Feb.2021 update:

We've been suggesting this bench as an add-on to the popular ForceUSA multi gym stations given the absence of any matching alternative from ForceUSA but whilst accumulating equipment in the shop for 2 customers we happened to get a "just-in" ForceUSA FID bench and the JMC bench. Both to be assembled before delivery so it seemed like a good way of getting hands-on with both benches which was quite a revelation as it happens;

The ForceUSA FID bench took around 90 minutes to assemble due a bit of fettling and lots of different bits but ending up with a serviceable but positively home-use adjustable bench weighing in at 18kg with a manufacturers maximum load capacity of 200kg (inc. user). Next up was this, the JMC adjustable bench, packaged in a much smaller box but weighing a whopping 39kg!
From the moment you pop the lid off the box you know this isn't just a bench rattled off a Chinese production line, each component is individually wrapped in thick cardboard and cable-tied in place with brown paper wadding to prevent movement. The front leg and the main frame which are normally welded as a single unit on our GymRatz Commercial Adjustable Benches are cleverly bolted together by the "L" shape side frames and some very hefty bolts. The single pivot point for the front and rear seat frames is engineered to the extreme. Every component is made to the highest precision with perfectly engineered components. 20 minutes later and the bench was fully assembled. It would have been quicker but I'd irritatingly put some of the bolts in from the opposite side of the frame which while having zero impact in a practical sense, played havoc with my obsessive requirement for uniformity so they had to be re-fitted. 

Final words to summarise: This bench might well be twice the price of a Chinese bench but it's twice the weight an 10 times the bench in every way and the engineering makes this the only flat packed bench that knocks spots of most other fabricated commercial benches on the market (apart from our own GymRatZ one of course).
