York STS Flat Bench

Review: York STS Flat  Bench is rated as a full commercial flat bench it is designed to perfectly match up with the rest of York STS Commercial Gym Range. While not quite being the equivalent of our fully fabricated GymRatZ or Gym-Equip range it is far more suited to the full commercial training environment than the likes of Body Solid and Powertec benches which we would only suggest for home use.

This York STS Flat Bench is perfect for any leisure centre, school gym or commercial gym. With no moving parts the York STS Flat Bench is extremely robust and easy to move around however due to the thicker wall steel it is physically heavier than other similar looking benches.

A light commercial or full commercial gym would be well served by the whole STS range although for the seriously heavy duty and millitary gyms, powerlifting and bodybuilding style gyms etc we would still always suggest our own GymRatZ range of fabricated units all made in England to our very demanding specification.

One particularly favourable feature of all the York STS Range of Gym Equipment is that it's imported and as such, typically available direct from UK stock for minimum delivery times which can be a significant factor where a replacement bench is required urgently.

More specifics of the York STS Flat Bench as follows:

• The multi-use bench is suitable for the heavy dumbell workouts, due to its unrivalled build quality and comfort.
• The 1 piece 270mm x 1030mm seat pad is fixed in place and reinforced by 2 extra steel supports for added strength.
• The Boltaflex upholstery is 52mm thick, high density foam, mounted on to 19mm plywood back. The covering offers outstanding resistance to stains and abrasions. It will not prematurely age and is oil resistant, mildew resistant, and disinfectant resistant and it contains a unique active bacterial resistance.
• Fully Mig welded frame, and machined on a jig to ensure consistent manufacture.
• Made with 52mm x 76mm steel tubing and 3mm sheet steel.
• Finished in highly durable, scratch resistant, electrostatic powder coat paint. This is baked in a temperature controlled oven to completely cure and maximize the durability of the platinum sparkle fi nish (frame) and crinkle black (back pad support)
