Choosing NOHRD's SlimBeam means choosing an exercise machine featuring all the benefits of traditional cable machines, along with a top design, capable of blending into your home interior and working in harmonious balance with a WaterRower rowing machine or WaterGrinder all of which can be made from the same spieces of wood.
With regards to the weight loading system
The WaterRower SlimBeam has the most modest of space requirements as detailed below:
Height of 215 cm x 40 cm wide: The SlimBeam Cable Machine is fixes 10 cm from your wall and protrudes just 20cm in total into the room. It's base measures less than 0.5 sq m.
The cable machine's most essential element is its range of motion. Extension lengths of up to 4 meters (double) or 8 meters (single, at 3:1 cable ratio) guarantee maximum functional expansion.
The maximal weight of 12.5 kg (single extension) or 25.0 kg (double extension) is distributed over 15 x 5Kg weight plates, delivering an extremely precise and harmonious weight gradation.
The weight range varies depending on pulley and extension set-up. This is detailed as follows:
- 3:1 Cable Ratio - 0.83Kg - 12.50Kg (single extention) / 1.65Kg - 25.0Kg (double extention)
- 2:1 Cable Ratio - 1.25Kg - 18.75Kg (single extention) / 2.50Kg - 37.5Kg (double extention)
- 1:1 Cable Ratio - 2.50Kg - 37.50Kg (single extention) / 5.00Kg - 75.0Kg (double extention)
The cable ratio can be changed through the amount of pulleys provided for use, enabling you to convert the SlimBeam.
A separate pulling cable is required.
