This really is a substantial piece of kit - the York FTS Power Cage is made from thicker walled box section steel than other similar looking racks and this is evident when you compare the products side-by-side both from the actual weight of the components to the heavy-weight feel when using this cage.

The pin adjustment, spotters and lift-offs allow for many more increment levels than other brands and one significant feature is that the lift-offs are already provided for both sides of the frame, which should be factored into the price; this makes the option for out-of-rack bench press feasible as bench-press within the confines of a power cage can be slightly awkward depending on rear cross-beam, wall space and bench design as you need to push the bench through the rack to set-up in just the right place.

One small but very significant feature is the numbered position indicator as shown in the picture that allows very quick and accurate positioning of the safeties and lift-offs ensuring they're set at the right height first time.

The YORK® FTS Power Cage offers all the same usability as a standard lifting cage or rack, but has been down sized so it can be used in a smaller environment.

The major feature is the 23 position adjustable bar holders in 5cm increments, using the same adjustments are the full length Safety Spot Bars for when squatting or bench pressing.

Double Bar Holders on the front uprights allows a secondary athlete to train in front of the cage whilst the inside of the cage is being used.
