Sizing of shoe true to my Nano 5.0s

Nearly as expensive as top end cycling shoes!! But, oh, they are so good. Stable as a rock. Worth it!

I bought these shoes to replace my older reebok lifters. I love them. They feel much more solid than my previous shoes. They do have a higher heel height which is of benefit to me. I love them for squatting and any of my olympic lifts. Only downside for me is I crossfit too and they are definately no good for wods. They are too heavy and solid to do anything in other than lifting so I will stick to my lifters for wods but will definately opt to wear these for all my accessory work.

After reading other reviews I was expecting something special with these Romaleos and I've not been disappointed. The quality of the shoes are excellent and, as advised by GymRatz, I purchased the same size as my Nike running shoes - they fit perfectly. The shoes are a real confidence giver and have encouraged me to push on with my 5x5 program. You feel absolutely solid and very well supported, especially with squats - now pushing out 5x5 over 120kg. Well worth the money.

The Nike Romaleos shoes are the best purchase I've made for my training by far.
I'm a competitive Powerlifter and my squat has always been my weak point, as I have particularly long legs. The elevation in the shoe allows me a deeper squat with greater quad activation, which has not only improved my max lift but also my leg hypertrophy. The stability of the shoe is unrivalled and I can feel exactly where I need to apply force to te ground.
Gymratz customer relations and delivery was top notch as well, 10/10 would shop here again.

After being helped by the salesteam to find my right size I ordered a pair if the cobalt blue Romaleos. There were still waiting for them to arrive in stock so I was pleasantly surprised to receive them a few short days later.

The shoes are extremely comfortable and well made, ( as is expected for the price). They are incredibly light, much lighter than my Adidas power 2s, and much more comfortable for my wide feet. The soles are quite flexible and breaking them in isn't necessary. From my first set of kettlebell jerks I could really feel a difference and I was able to slam my heels into to floor much harder without really having to put in a concentrated effort.

I highly recommend these shoes to anyone. My only regret is that I waited so long to get my first pair.

Bought these after having a pair of Inov8 Boa Fastlifts that I never really got on with. I felt that there was too much room, (for me anyway) in the toe and forefoot area, never felt planted.
Purchased the Nike Romaleos in the same size Nike astroturf trainers I have already. DIDN'T go down a size as some people suggest! Fit was spot on from the start, no movement around the forefoot when lifting. I think the lower, second strap helps here a lot. First squat session, I felt planted. Just echoing what other people have said about having a feeling of stability due to the wide sole unit.
I did try some Adipower's on (only in the shop, so didn't get a true test) and I felt a bit of movement in the forefoot which was strange, as the Adidas shoes are meant to be a narrower fitting than the Nike's. Like I mentioned already, I think the second strap on the Nike's must really help here to give you a feeling of security and stability. I'm not going to claim my lift's went through the roof with the Nike's but I will say I felt very stable, secure and more comfortable using the Nike's. Oh, and they look good aswell!

Short and sweet. There are many reviews advising which sizes to buy, I'm a 9 and ordered a 9 and it fitted perfectly. The straps give extra surity and I didn't find they dragged on the ground. The heel is perfect, saves me putting plates under my heels. Allows me to squat full depth and RDL with great form. I'm just a keen amateur though not a powerlifter etc.

Built extremely well, good looking shoe, easy enough to walk in. Completely solid base.

Price was competitive and Gymratz kindly offered the same postage cost to Northern Ireland which is appreciated. We usually get fleeced.

I also made an error with the address as we've just moved house. Can I say the turnaround and customer service was just excellent.

Arrived very quickly. Good sizing advice on the sale page. The shoes themselves are brilliant for any heavy compound lift that has you standing on your feet. Immediate increase in stability for squats, deadlifts.

I would definitely buy another product from GymRatz. I did a mistake on the billing adress and they replied back to me straight away, let alone that the shoes where delivered in 2 days time! The prize was also very good for nike Romaleos 2 as other places where much more expensive.

After trying another branded lifting shoe I opted for these and they are worth the extra money!! Very comfortable and supportive! A friend from our crossfit box ordered them from another store and after 4 days of no communication he cancelled the order and ordered through Gymratz and his new pair arrived the next day!
