Digital Heart Rate Receiver (ANT+)

Digital WATERROWER Heart Rate Receiver known as ANT+ to allow utilisation of heart rate controls features of the S4 workout monitor.

ANT+ is now pretty much the only heart rate monitor technology to consider. It's been adopted by most fitness and smart-phone manufacturers. The signal travels a greater distance than the old analogue Polar HRM devices so not only can you use your WATERROWER ANT+ chest strap with other devices. I've been using a WATERROWER ANT+ strap "borrowed" from our shop stock for use with Samsung Galaxy and Samsung fitness app to track/record heart rate data when running,walking etc.

Greater versatillity and device compatibillity, ANT+ is the only way to go.

Internal or external? We prefer to supply internal as it keeps the clean lines of the S4 monitor. It really is just a 2 minute job to install. As long as you make sure the 6 screws go back into the right holes there's very little to go wrong.  But for the faint-hearted there's the plug-in (external) version which is even easier and doesn't require a screwdriver.

The system displays the the Heart Rate in lieu of the stroke rate for 7 seconds in 10. Input the heart rate upper limit and heart rate lower limit. An audible and visual signal is produced when you are outside the zones limits.
