WATERROWER S4 Monitor Retrofit

Retrofit your existing WATERROWER to include the latest monitor offering, the S4 monitor.

The WATERROWER S4 monitor uses a different pickup method to previous workout monitors and hence requires the top deck containing the sensor to be modified.

This Water Rower S4 Monitor upgrade kit can be retrofitted to most WATERROWER machines by the owner and requires limited mechanical knowledge. The Monitor upgrade is perfect for bringing any tired and ageing SIII monitor bang up to date in both style and function.

Note: not detailed on the following .pdf instructions is the fact that you will need to cut a small groove in the underside of the top-plate for the sensor wires to pass along, preventing them from rubing the sensor wheel as it rotates. This can be done very easily with a chisel or router and doesn't have to be precise not "pretty" as it's not visible when re-assembled.

NOTE: 2015: The WATERROWER We-Row project and software are currently not functioning and no time-scale for availabillity has been given.  Hopefully this matter will be resolved in the near future but for the moment there isn't any facillity for PC connectivity.

We would also strongly advise maximising the benefits of your workout monitor upgrade by inclunding an ANT+ Internal HRM Heart rate reciever and chest strap compatible with all other ANT+ digital Heart Rate Monitors, Straps and accessories.
