The original weight stack version of this low-row station was discontinued in favour of keeping to an entirely plate-loaded and range of commercial gym equipment. The frame size, design and build is the same except the original weight stack has been replaced by a heavy-duty weight plate carriage. This significantly reduces manufacture costs and the price t the user, however one has to factor into the price the aditional cost of various olympic weight plates; preferably cast iron or steel in preference to rubber bumper plates due to rubber plates being twice as thick thereby reducing loading capacity of the machine.
